a catgirl is a cyborgian figure that reflects a woman who has a strong internet presence. when I was highly online around 2020, my best friend gifted me a pair of cat girl headphones. I felt that this object affirmed a cyborgian identity, I had unknowingly adopted. I wore the headphones to listen to music while I coded my research website based on meme usage. At the time, I was hoping to create a viral image, I never did.
